3. By purchasing any Eligible Travel Policy during the Promotion Period and benefitting from the promotion to receive the Discount, You agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

4. These terms and conditions apply in addition to the Policy Wording for the relevant Eligible Travel Policy, as well as any policy terms, conditions, limits, sublimits, exclusions, and underwriting criteria that apply in respect of the Eligible Travel Policy.

7. Quotes obtained on Our Website lapse on the quote expiration date. In any case where an AA Member has obtained a quote prior to the Promotion Period and completes the purchase of the quoted policy within the Promotion Period, the original quoted price will apply and the AA Member will not be entitled to the Discount. An AA Member who has obtained a quote prior to the Promotion Period may allow such quote to lapse and obtain a new quote within the Promotion Period in order to be entitled to the Discount. An AA Member who obtains a quote during the Promotion Period and completes the purchase within the Promotion Period or after the Promotion Period, but within the quote expiration date in which the quote is valid, will be entitled to the Discount.

Other than due to any fault of Our Website, We will not be liable for failure for You to complete the purchase of an Eligible Travel Policy during the Promotion Period, including (without limitation), failure to correctly enter Your AA Membership Number, Your limited access to internet services, or the failure of any credit card, banking or associated transaction (regardless of the cause of the failure).

9. If You breach these terms and conditions, We may require You to pay to Us the value of the Discount You received.

10. We may choose to extend the Promotion Period and will display the new dates and times of the Promotion Period on Our Website and update these terms to reflect the new dates and times of the Promotion Period.

11. We may amend these terms and conditions at any time by publishing the updated terms and conditions on Our Website, provided such amendment is not, in our reasonable opinion, detrimental to You.

12. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand and You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand in respect of any dispute that may arise under them.

Definitions

13. In these terms and conditions, unless the context otherwise requires:

"Base Price" means the premium shown when You select 'Choose Plan' at step 1 of purchasing Your plan on Our Website, and includes GST and any other applicable taxes or levies. The Base Price does not include any additional premiums added for pre-existing medical conditions or specified high value items. Refer to the Policy Wording of your Eligible Travel Policy for more information regarding pre-existing medical conditions and specified high value items;

"Discount" means a reduction of the Base Price and any applicable premium for pre-existing medical conditions of the Eligible Travel Policy by 15%;

"Eligible Travel Policy" means the International Travel Insurance Policy with either the Essentials Plan, Comprehensive Plan or the Frequent Flyer Plan and the Domestic Travel Insurance Policy with either the Comprehensive or Cancellation Plan purchased during the Promotion Period;

"Policy Wording" means the policy wording available on Our Website for the specific Eligible Travel Policy, or otherwise provided to You upon purchasing an Eligible Travel Policy;

"Promotion Period" means the period commencing 12.00am on 1st August 2024 and ending 11.59pm on 30th November 2024 (NZST);

"Us", "We" and "Our" means The Hollard Insurance Company Pty Ltd acting through AWP Services New Zealand Limited (trading as Allianz Partners);

"Website" means www.aa.co.nz/insurance/travel-insurance/; and

"You" and "Your" means any person who purchases any Eligible Travel Policy during the Promotion Period.
