2 Months Free Terms and Conditions
1) You are eligible for this offer if you:
(a) are a new customer of AA Health Insurance (AA) (someone who is not an existing holder of an AA Health Insurance policy as of 15 April 2024);
(b) are 16 years of age or over; and
(c) buy an AA Health Insurance Everyday Policy and/or Hospital (Private Hospital cover or Private Hospital and Specialist cover) (Eligible Policies) on the AA Health Insurance website, by calling 0800 758 758 or purchase through AA Centre Network between 15 April 2024 to 09 July 2024 (or such later date as nib may permit in its absolute discretion) (Eligible Person).
2. This offer is not available to a new customer joining an existing AA Health policy.
3. For Eligible Policies where a monthly payment frequency is selected, the first months premiums will need to be paid first. The second and third-months’ premiums will then be free per Eligible Person, as long as the policy is active (i.e. not cancelled or on hold).
4. For Eligible Policies where a weekly or fortnightly payment frequency is selected, the first four weeks premiums will need to be paid first and then weeks five to twelve will be free per Eligible Person, as long as the policy is active (i.e. not cancelled or on hold).
5. For Eligible Policies where a quarterly, half yearly or annual payment frequency is selected, the first payment will be adjusted to include two months’ free premiums per Eligible Person, as long as the policy is active (i.e. not cancelled or on hold).
6. For customers on weekly, fortnightly or monthly payment frequencies, at the end of the two months of free cover, customers will continue to be charged premiums on the payment cycle they’ve chosen (weekly, fortnightly, monthly). For customers on quarterly, half yearly or annual payment frequencies, premiums will be charged throughout in accordance with your chosen payment cycle, subject to the payment adjustment referred to in clause 5.
7. The two months free will be applied as a credit on the policy. The credit is not transferable, refundable, or redeemable for cash. The offer will apply to premiums only and may not be applied to any excess or other fees payable by the customer to AA.
8. This offer can’t be used in conjunction with any other offers except for the 5% AA Member discount which is available if you provide a valid AA Membership number for you, or someone named on your policy and additional 5% AA Staff discount (for eligible AA staff) where applicable.

9. These terms may be updated or modified at nib’s sole discretion, provided it doesn’t prejudice anyone who has already accepted the offer. This was last updated on 4 April 2024. NZAA will publish any material change on the website https://www.aa.co.nz/insurance/health-insurance/.
10. NZAA may cancel this offer at any time, in its sole discretion, without notice.
