  • How many driving lessons will I need?

    Based on your driving ability, a recommendation will be made and discussed with you at your lesson with your driving instructor. 

  • What if the Representative wants me to pay them directly?

    • Payments should only be made via the secure payment link texted to you on completion of the works, or over the phone with an AA Home representative. For home inspection services, payment options and your invoice will be sent in the booking confirmation email. Payment must be received before you are able to view your report.
  • How will I know if my booking has been confirmed?

    • You will receive an email and SMS confirmation for one of the booking windows of your choice. If for some reason we can’t achieve one of your requested times we will be in touch to organise another time that suits you within one business day Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (excluding public holidays).
  • How do the Booking Windows work?

    • You will be required to provide AA Home Book a Job with two booking window preferences.
    • The Representative will arrive within the two-hour window that we confirm with you.
    • You will be notified once the Representative is on their way.
  • How can I be sure that the Representative I am getting is qualified, licensed and insured?

    • AA Home Book a Job ensure that we only select suitably qualified, licensed and insured Representatives to carry out works.
    • All Representatives must go through an AA Home induction workshop.
    • AA Home Book a Job’s state-of-the-art software prevents work from being given out to Representatives who don’t have their credential’s up to date.
  • Can I request the same Representative I've used in the past?

    • AA Home Book a Job will endeavour to provide you with the same Representative if requested, however cannot guarantee they will be available during your preferred booking windows.
  • What if the job takes longer/shorter than I booked for?

    • There is a minimum charge for all job bookings of one hour's labour. Please note that the estimated cost provided to you during your booking journey, will be the minimum amount payable.
    • Our representative will review the information you have provided when the booking was made and will inform you whether there will be any additional time required to complete the job. If you are still happy to continue with the job, you will be able to sign off the additional charges to enable the Tradesperson/Inspector to proceed.
  • How does AA Home Book a Job work?

    • You book your job online. Please note booking our Tradesperson/Inspector to come to your property is a chargeable event.
    • We schedule the job with the Representative.
    • We ensure the Representative turns up on time and does a great job.
    • You get back to doing what’s important to you.
  • How long does it take for me to get my driving instructor (I) endorsement?

    You will have to go through the process of the DL20 (Fit and Proper). The course takes 2 weeks in class. There is a pre-course student period of 4 weeks. For more information, please contact aadtcareers@aa.co.nz

  • Who pays for the driving instructor (I) endorsement course?

    You will have to arrange a payment for this course. This course is unit standard based however is not funded by student loan. You can find out more via the Recruitment Specialist. Please email aadtcareers@aa.co.nz
