Does AA Driving School offer a driving medical assessment or an occupational therapy assessment?
Your general practitioner will have to refer you to an occupational therapist. It's a two-part evaluation including off-road and on-road components. The off-road evaluation is conducted by a fully qualified Occupational Therapist and involves a serious test to assess your observation and memory skills, as well as a comprehensive physical functional screening (typically). You will receive a report following your assessment. Visit the Waka Kotahi NZTA website to learn more about occupational therapy assessments.
