• How long does it take for me to get my driving instructor (I) endorsement?

  You will have to go through the process of the DL20 (Fit and Proper). The course takes 2 weeks in class. There is a pre-course student period of 4 weeks. For more information, please contact aadtcareers@aa.co.nz

  Driving Instructors have the opportunity to teach during the day, with experience you can then deliver Defensive Driving Courses (DDC).   You need to have had your Full License for a minimum of 2 years. You will need to complete a Fit and Proper Check (DL20) and become (I) endorsed. You can complete an i-endorsement Course through the AA Driving School.
