What type of car does the instructor have?: All of our instructors have dual controlled vehicles. These are modern, safe, ANCAP4* plus Suzuki or Holden vehicles. The instructor will be able to confirm details about the car when they contact you to confirm a booking.

Can I be picked up from school or home for my first free driving lesson?: The first free driving lesson will start and finish at the selected AA Centre, so that maximum time can be spent getting you started on your learn to drive journey. Can I still get a paid lesson with an AA Driving Instructor?: Absolutely. The Ignition programme is only part of the suite of products provided in car and you can still book a lesson either directly with an AA Driving School Instructor, via the AA Website or by calling 0800 223 748

Why are you suspending the Ignition programme?: We are suspending it so we can review its effectiveness and the overall budget available for its resumption.

Yes, once you have booked your first job, follow the prompts to let us know that you require additional jobs.
