  • I'm not sure which cover is right for me. Where can I get more information?

It’s important to get the right cover to suit your needs. To help with that, you can visit our product pages, compare your cover options on the Compare Policies page, or for more information you can talk to one of our AA Life Consultants on 0800 808 234, or visit your nearest AA Centre.

  • Can I change the amount I'm covered for?

Yes. You can reduce your cover at any time. If you want to increase your cover, you’ll need to answer a few simple questions about your health to ensure you are eligible to increase. Terms and conditions will apply at the time you increase your cover.

  • Can I add a beneficiary to my policy?

You can add a beneficiary as part of the application process, or if you'd like to add one later, you can do so by completing the Beneficiary Form on our website, or getting in touch with us. Their details are loaded against your policy so that any payouts are made to them directly. We recommend you put some provisions in place on how you'd like payments to be administered i.e. organising a will, trustee or guardian.

  • Can I take multiple cover options?

Yes, you can take out complementary cover options. For example, you may want to take out some Cancer Care Cover along with Life Cover. Many people can be treated and recover when diagnosed with cancer and the lump sum payment could help with costs. It pays to check out the product information carefully to make sure you only purchase what you need.

  • Can I apply for life insurance if I have a disease, an illness, or I am very overweight?

You may be able to, but the terms of your policy may be changed. For instance, some conditions may be excluded or a premium loading may apply (this means that your premiums may be more expensive). Any exclusions or premium loadings are made clear to you as part of the application process before making a decision to purchase.
