What are your interest rates?
AA Finance’s fixed annual interest rates range from 9.95% to 15.95%. The rate charged will depend on your personal circumstances taking into account:
- how much you want to borrow
- the term of your loan
- your income
- your other financial commitments, and
- your credit history

- The minimum loan amount is $5,000
- Your vehicle will be required as security and it must be fully insured. The vehicle used as security for your loan must be no more than 12 years old.
- AA Finance loan terms range from 6 months – 5 years

Who can I take out Funeral Cover for?
You can take out a Funeral Cover policy either for yourself or for a close family member. Close family members are limited to your Husband, Wife, De-facto Partner, Civil Union partner, Mother, Father, Daughter, Son, Brother, Sister, Grandfather, Grandmother or a person for who you hold an Enduring Power of Attorney (POA) over their property. We will require a copy of the POA as evidence.

If I’m not 80 but want to do this anyway can I pay to do it? How much will it cost?
AA Senior Driver is only for Members aged 80 plus, however there are two other options if you do not qualify for this:
1.) Refresher Driving Lesson – a one hour driving lesson with an instructor.
2.) On-Road Safety Test Practice – a practice test, similar to the real On-Road Safety Test.
The cost of these two options varies depending on location. Please see the prices listed on our website.

How long will it take for a lending decision to be made?
We aim to let you know within one working hour of receiving your personal loan application.

Does my car need to be road legal?
Yes. Your car needs to be fully road legal (e.g. current WoF and registration etc.) or else you will not be taken out on your in-car drive and you will forfeit your session. You will then need to pay for another in-car session to be able to finish your DDC course.

Can I purchase AA Home Response for more than one residential property?
Yes, you can purchase multiple AA Home Response or AA Home Response Plus subscriptions to cover different residential properties you own. You can either sign up online, or by calling 0800 AA HOME (0800 224 663)

How does AA Home Response work with my insurance?
AA Home Response and AA Home Response Plus do not replace your insurance. You will need to contact your insurer if you wish to make a claim related to the damage you’ve called AA Home about.
