How many roadside breakdown callouts am I entitled to per year?
You are normally entitled to a maximum of 6 callouts each year. If you have 10 or more years continuous Membership then there is no limit. If you are entitled to 6 free callouts and require a 7th callout or more the usual cost is $60 per callout. In some cases there will be an additional cost i.e. if you breakdown in a remote area that is difficult to access or require the additional services of a locksmith. In these circumstances our Roadservice team can advise or give you an estimate of what the cost will be when you call for assistance. Can I apply for an IDP if I have an old NZ driver's licence?
If you're living overseas and have an old paper licence you can apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP). If you're living in New Zealand (or have moved back to New Zealand from overseas) you'll need to upgrade your paper licence to a photo licence before you can apply for an IDP.

Can I ride a motorbike on a learner's licence?
