Roadservice and breakdown assistance
We are only a phone call or click away when the unexpected happens on the road. You can count on us.
On average, we receive approximately half a million calls for help every year and over half are attended within 45 minutes.
Your AA Membership covers you, not the vehicle. You are covered whether you're the driver or the passenger no matter what you drive or ride.

What you need at the roadside
Members
You’ll need to be with the vehicle at the time that it breaks down – this can be either as the driver or as a passenger. Please make sure you have your AA Membership card with you. We can't provide AA Roadservice assistance without seeing this card. We'll also ask you for a second form of ID to confirm your identity. It's just our way of making sure we're giving your AA Membership benefits to the right person.
Non-Members
It costs $209 to join at the roadside with a credit card. It's $159 if your partner or spouse is an AA Member, though they must be living at the same address as you.
When you call us, we'll ask for your credit card details. We'll complete your AA Membership application over the phone and then send out one of our AA Roadservice specialists to help.
