- Some pre-existing conditions may be covered after 18 months

Unlike most pet insurers in New Zealand, we can cover some pre-existing conditions depending on whether they are considered a temporary or chronic condition. If your pet has a temporary condition that occurred or existed before you took out the policy (or arises during the relevant waiting period) but has been symptom-free for 18 months, you can apply for your pet to be covered for that condition under the policy.

We have a quick and simple online claims process. Simply log into your Claims Portal to lodge a claim and upload your claim supporting documents. No printing and filling out paper forms needed.
