Quick and easy online subscription
Subscribing to AA Home Response Plus is quick and easy. The only details you need to sign up are:
- Your property address
- Your AA Membership number (if you’re an AA Member)
- AA Insurance Policy Number (if you’re a customer)
- A credit/debit card to complete your payment

Why AA Home Response Plus
- Up to six emergency callouts* included in your annual subscription, each with up to one hour of a tradesperson's time.
- Callout and up to the first hour are covered. Only pay extra if more time or extra parts are needed.

Covered incidents and availability
AA Home Response Plus covers a wide range of household incidents. Anything from plumbing, electrical and general repairs around the house. From a damaged roof causing internal leaks to a blocked toilet or a burst pipe. Our expert tradespeople are equipped to handle these emergencies efficiently.
AA Home Response Plus subscriptions cover the following household incidents*:

Water leaking internally through the ceiling or walls. |

A blocked toilet, pipe or drain. |
A blocked toilet, pipe or drain prevents smooth water flow, causing overflow or backup into the nearest outlet. |

A burst tap or showerhead. |
Inability to control water flow as the result of a burst tap or showerhead; causing significant water wastage, home or property damage. (Does not include replacement of washers.) |

A burst pipe. |
Physical breakage of a pipe or joint, resulting in a burst pipe causing significant water wastage, home or property damage. |

A broken or burst hot water system. |
Broken or damaged system as the result of a burst unit, gas or electrical problems, faulty components, or even just the inability to reignite the pilot light. |

A broken air conditioning unit or heating system. |
Broken or damaged system as the result of gas or electrical problems, faulty components, or inability to reignite pilot light. |

A blackout or power failure in the house. |
Supply of power to all or part of the house has been disrupted. (Excludes area-wide blackouts) |

Unable to gain access to the home. |

Where home safety or security is threatened as a result of damage to an external/internal door such as damaged locks, jammed doors. (Make safe during callout only). |

Good to know
- If the Callout lasts longer than one hour, an hourly rate applies. Our hourly rates have been defined upfront and will be quoted at the time of booking. These rates depend on your location in New Zealand, the time of your callout, and the urgency.
- Callout/Subscription prices exclude parts and any additional labour required.
