After taking the 320d Sport model for a drive, it’s not hard to see why it is so popular. Smooth to drive, stylish inside and out, functional…It’s a very enjoyable experience. The latest upgrades include a new sporty exterior design, a fresh interior, a myriad of driver assistance features and the release of a few efficient, dynamic and torque-laden engine options. The sportier front and rear view makes for a sharper look, along with newly designed LED lights.
If the space fits, park in it
The interior has been enhanced by the addition of chrome and black, high-gloss accents and an Ambient Light package is also now extended to the centre console and doors. This helps to create further differentiation between the old and new models.
New connectivity and driver safety features have also been included. So if you’re always wondering if you can actually fit into that tricky parking spot, the driver assistant feature can help. When it’s selected, it takes control of all steering inputs in a parking situation. However, I’m not sure if I would feel comfortable using this when trying to park under pressure on a crowded busy road.

Even the new standard spec list has an impressive array of features such as Driver Assistant with Forward Collision Warning, Light City Braking, Lane Change Warning and a rear vision camera. The connectivity has also been improved with the BMW ConnectedDrive; a unique and innovative driver interface system that enhances the connectivity link between the driver and the car. And, if that wasn’t enough, there’s also a Concierge Service and Intelligent Emergency Call to top it off.
An all-new 185kW 4 cylinder engine has been added to the 330i Sedan, while the 330d xDrive Touring boasts 195kW which offers a whopping 560Nm of torque. The range starts from $72,000 for both the 320i and 320d Sedan models and you can get the Touring from $75,000.
