AA Battery Service was established in 2000 to provide motorists and workshop partners with quality, competitively priced batteries, with the excellent service New Zealanders expect from the AA. We are based in Mt Wellington in Auckland and have warehouse facilities in five cities in New Zealand.
Our batteries are designed to meet OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) specifications and feature the latest technology from some of the world’s largest battery manufacturers and distributed through our supply chain nationwide. We offer safe, durable and efficient products and this is why we stand by our premium batteries range with a 36 month warranty.
We care for our customers holistically by offering services, chargers and recycling. Each time we sell an AA battery, we take the motorist’s old battery away, where 96% of its materials can be recycled.

AA batteries for boats
Our batteries are built for rough sea conditions, have high CCA (Cold Cranking Amp) ratings and a high reserve capacity. Instead of providing high bursts of power for short periods like an automotive battery does, marine and deep cycle batteries are specially designed to deliver sustained power with low current draw over extended periods of time.
AA Deep Cycle batteries are constructed using thicker battery plates. The active material is denser to withstand repeated charge and recharge cycles.
