Hi, we have purchased a new Isuzu mu-x. After around 6000 kms we noticed on the front bumper paint chips. To our eyes it looks as though after the initial chip the surrounding paint is not adhering and is growing larger. Surrounding panels and other parts of bumper with contrasting paint finish do not seem to be affected. A panelbeater reckons there could be a problem with preparation of the bumper before painting. I raised this problem with the sales agent at the 10k service and am awaiting a "PPG paint rep" to come and view it. This is taking a long time to resolve. What can I do to get this sorted?

Hi there,
As the vehicle is under the manufacturers warranty, you must still refer the vehicle to the dealer and they must follow the process from head office as to recognising if there is a defect that requires a warranty remedy.
