Hi,
Yesterday I tried to use my $50 MTA Gift Voucher to purchase a little less than $50 worth of petrol at the new BP station at Richmond, Nelson. I was told that they would not give change on a petrol voucher. I have successfully done this many times in the past ( even at the old Richmond BP ) and am wondering if this is correct, especially as I have previously purchased this voucher from them with money.

Hi there,
I have previously received change on MTA vouchers at most petrol stations, and accepted this as the norm. It is only gift cards that you can't get change back from, maybe the service station got this a bit mixed up.
