I wish to challenge an infringement notice for going thru a yellow light (10pm at night and no other traffic around) when the officer says I had time to stop. I wrote in and they wish to continue with the fine so my only course of action is to go to court. The fine is $150. I was wondering what the court costs might be if I lose. Thanks

Hi there, I'm not sure on standard court fees, but this link sums it up. It 's basically the time taken in quarter days. http://www.justice.govt.nz/courts/district-court/self-represented-litigants/costs-and-disbursements
