We have a 2012 Nissan Juke and has done just over 40,000 kms. The 36 months Factory warranty expired Februay 2015. Took to Nissan dealership and confirmed that it had a transmission fault (CVT/drive train). But unfortunately the service technician said hat it was not covered by the warranty as it has expired 7 months ago. I said " but the vehicle has only done just over 40,000 kms".
Would Nissan be responsible for the repair of the said fault? Or I need to have it repaired myself?
Thanks

Hi there,
Generally once the time frame or km's have been reached, then that is the end of the
warranty period. But before getting the car repaired at your cost.
I would press the dealer/ manufacture to repair the car as a "good will" considering the low milaege.

Hi Joecach,
I have the same car with the same problem. It is about 33,000 km now. I wonder if your car was fixed by Nissan/or NIssan dealership at their cost. I was told it's over $10,000 to replace it at Nissan workshop. Hopefully get some advice from you.
Thanks for your attention!
