I have a 1991 Mazda Proceed which has two headlights fitted as standard.

I have been told that as it only has the two lights, I can have two extra headlights fitted which must be powered through the high beam circuit.

What is the law regarding extra driving/fog lights on the front of a vehicle?

I'm sure an AA Vehicle History Report will provide the information you are looking for.

It should tell you what the original plate number was.

There is a cost, $25 for a non AA Member or $20 if you are a member.

Give it a go, if you don't get the past plate number on the history report, let me know and I will arrange a refund for you.

Re claiming the original number; Once you know what the original number was, log onto http://www.plates.co.nz/ and see if you can claim it as a personalised plate.
