This is my first ever offence, no alcohol or speed. Just an accident. The person I injured was a motorcyclist who has a broken leg. I have apologised to him and he has graciously forgiven me. Am I eligible for Diversion. I have just graduated as a teacher and would obviously prefer diversion

If it was simply "Careless Driving", I'd say it's definitely worth trying. However, unfortunately with the "causing injury" it's not really an option for you. This offence has traditionally attracted a mandatory loss of licence, although we're aware of recent cases where this has not occured.
I'd really suggest you consult a lawyer. As an AA Member, we may be able to assist with a consultation.
Our Motoring Advice team will be able to point you in the right direction.
