Hi, I'm currently on a NZ restricted drivers license and I'm trying to figure out If I can get an exemption to carry my brother from my mothers house too my fathers and back.

Both parents are separated and live 1 hours drive apart, when my brother and I wish to travel between our parents homes at the same time I drive and he takes a bus costing more money than if I could take him.

Would this be likely to warrant getting an exemption?

You can make an exemption application to NZTA but it is very unlikely that you would be granted an exemption.
