Can you mix the size of wheels such as; 205/65/15 on the front and 235/60/16 on the rear?

Would I pass a Warrant of Fitness inspection?

It is not illegal to have different sized wheels as long as they are on the same axle.

Some vehicles have different sized wheels from manufacture, the Mitsubishi i-car is one such example.

The Landtransport Wheel and Tyre Rule 2001 requires the wheel and tyre combination must be compatible with the type, design, and performance of the vehicle of which they are a part.

The tyre size cannot be greater than 5% of the original tyre size otherwise a low volume certificate must be issued.

They must also have adequate clearance, not allowed to protrude beyond the cars mudguards and not have spacers fitted.

Keep in mind the possibility of speedo error as the rolling radius will change with different tyre sizes.
