I am looking at replacing my car and using it as a trade-in on a new vehicle.
Can you tell me whether it needs a Warrant of Fitness less than a month old when trading-in with a Licensed Motor Vehicle Dealer?
Thanks.

If you are trading the car in with a Licensed Dealer then no, you do not require a new WoF unless it is a specific agreement you have made with the dealer as part of the trade.
The dealer will take care of the WoF depending on what they eventually do with the vehicle.

Is this still the situation or have rules changed recently?
