I have asked people the following question and get an approx 50% response either way.

When I am turning right into a public carpark and a car is wanting to exit and indicates to turn right, who has to give way?

Is this a normal give way to the right, even though they are not on a road?

Under the current law when a vehicle is exiting from a car park and indicates to turn right to the opposite side of the road and another car stops on their left signalling their intention to turn right into the car park, they have the right of way over the car in the street signalling a right turn. The car waiting to enter the car park must give way to the oncoming cars, and all the cars on their right, exiting from the car park.
