I drive to a T intersection from bottom of T. A 'giveway' sign is at the end of my way, and I was turning left. At this time a pedestrian was walking on 'the black and white strips' on my left. Since the main road (continuous direction of T, one way) is wide, and 'pedestrian strips' is not located immediatedly on my left, can I drive passing the 'giveway' sign and turn left (assuming no car coming from the right) then stop to wait the pedestrian to cross?
That is, should I only stop at position 1#, or can I also stop at position 2# in the graph below?
Thanks
Frank

Sorry, but your graph/image hasn't come out on this site, so your question is a little difficult to understand.

Thank you for your reply, I have sent you an email with attached road map for this questions (map are not shown here).
1) On the road intersection below, if there are people on pedestrian crossing strips, should the car from Salek St. stop at the ‘giveway’ line, or it may pass the ‘giveway’ line and move slowly towards the position of grey van (and stop when necessary) to wait for pedestrian to cross?
2) A similar case:
For the blue car at an intersection with traffic lights:
If the light for the blue car and light for pedestrian on its left both turns green, can the blue car (turning left) move to the position indicated by the ‘red square’, then stop to wait for pedestrian to walk through?
Many thanks
