On christmas eve i bought a used car from a dealer. it came with no service package. Today a drip developed in the passenger footwell than then turned into a gush of water. We think it is linked to the air con. Where do i stand on getting the dealer to fix this as i have only had the car for a matter of days?
If you bought the vehicle as a private individual from a dealer (not an auction or pvt sale) then you need to contact them about the fault and have them sort it out. Even though the vehicle might not have come with a warranty you are covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act (by law) which covers you for a reasonable amount of time.
If the dealer concerned is not willing to assist then you can take this matter further - let us know the outcome.
