Hi there, recently brought a 2004 car off Trademe, with a AA pre purchase inspection report that was supplied by the seller. The report made no mention at all of any exterior problems or examination ie. such as rust. yet when the car arrived we have since discovered significant rust on the roof in a reasonably obivious location. Either the inspector missed it out or the seller edited it out before sending.
Do I have any rights or recourse on an issue like this?

E-mail a copy of the pre purchase inspection to aatech@aa.co.nz an I will look into it for you. I will respond to your e-mail.
