We have just had a Warrant of Fitness inspection carried out on our car and now have some concerns about the placement of the label on the front windscreen.
It was placed on the top R/H corner (driver's side), but behind the factory window tinting area.
This area goes about 15cm down from the top of the windscreen and as a result of this placement, the WoF sticker is not clearly visible from the outside of the car.
I am concerned that a police officer will automatically think I don't have a current WoF since the label cannot be clearly sighted.

The regulations state in part, that the WoF label must be affixed "as close as possible to the edge of the windscreen where it is clearly visible from the outside and is not obscured by an anti-glare band or sticker".
It would appear the WoF label has been incorrectly placed on your vehicle. I suggest you approach the Authorised Vehicle Testing Centre concerned and request a new label be issued and fitted correctly (free of charge of course).
