Hi there,
I had an accident a month ago, where I was at fault (foot slipped off the brake and onto the accelerator). As I was uninsured, I now have to pay for the car's maintenance which was insured. The total cost is around 3 grand. So I was just wondering if I will be able to make a small percentage of deposit to the insurance company (AA) and then make weekly payments for the cost? I am a full time tertiary student.

The best advice is to discuss this with the insurance company. Generally speaking, if you are unable to make the full payment, they will most likely agree to your suggestion of paying the debt off in installments. However, if they do agree, be sure not to fall behind with the payments.
You will need to contact them to ask for this to be considered.
