Hi there,
This is more of a general road use question I hope you can help me with. I would like to know when coming up to a round-about on a road which was only a single lane and then becomes two lanes; in the left hand lane you can go left or straight through, and in the right hand land you can go straight through or turn right and there being two lanes at the other side of the round-about for traffic which has chosen to go straight which then merges into one lane. In your opinion when coming up to the round-about and you are going straight through, which lane should you select, the left or the right?
Many thanks, Keith

Under these circumstances, you can select either lane.
As stated in the Road Code, not all roundabouts are marked the same way, so take extra care especially at the exits.

Here's what the Road Code says about multi-lane roundabouts;
