I got my learners licence in april this year and can go for my restricted in october, but do i have to wait till im 16 and 1/2 to sit my restricted becuase of the driving age has risen? thanks

Because you were already part way through the system before the law change, you may be eligible for an exemption which will allow you to continue the process under the old system.
