I got Indian License issued in 2003 its for both Motor vehicle(car) and Bike( Motorcycle) its a combined lincese which allows me to drive both car and Bike in india. I am 32 yr old i have been driving and riding my 250cc bike since 2003 I am an experienced driver n rider but i dont have a car/bike yet in NZ. I would like to conver this licese to NZ as per the previous blog i can see that 1st I have to give a therory and then I dont have to wait and i can book a parctical test if passed i will get a full NZ licence. Is this correct?

If so now I dont have a car yet can I book a car from AA or liceseing authority or someone and pay and book a practical liense what the cost involved in the entire process? I am new to NZ as I came here only in feb2012.

Yes, it is possible to arrange to sit your practical test in an AA Driver Training car. AA Driver Training can be contacted on 0800 223 748.
