Why is acc allowed to charge so much for my surf compared to wifes suziki on petrol and both 4 x4

Diesel and petrol vehicles pay ACC in different ways, with some ACC collected in petrol tax but no ACC on diesel fuel or RUC, so annual licence fees for diesels are higher instead. For more information, see this page on our website.

Last time i asked about this i was told that 4 x4 have more accidents and i still dont beleive any that i have read...Being targeted i feel....P
