Hi, i already have my restricted licence. i passed it on the 21st of june (2011) to get my full will anything be affected by this new law change?
also a friend of mine has had their learners licence for just over 2 months. are they able to continue to proceed to get their restricted as normal? or will they have to wait until they are 16?

It depends on your age. If you are under 16 you will not be eligible to sit for your full license until you are 18 years of age.

However, if you attend a approved advanced driving course you can sit for your full license 6 months earlier.

Because your friend is already part way through the system, they may be eligible for an exemption which will allow them to continue the process under the old system.
