Hi,
I had an accident when turning right in an intersection with traffic lights. I was waiting inside the intersection. When lights turned yellow I turned right and was hit by a car from the opposite direction which run the red light (according to a witness in car that was coming from the same direction in another line and who stopped) .
My insurance claims that I am responsible for the accident. Is that correct?

You would be best to outline the situation to the police and get an opinion as to placement of liability. There is generally rules broken that can cause an accident and rules broken that would be infringement worthy.
