Hi i have two vehicles one registered under my name and one under my partners name. My partner has just purchased a personalised plate for her vehicle. Is it possible to have her original plates on my vehicle.

The standard issue Government plates are single-use only and can't be put on another vehicle, only personalised plates can be re-used.

Thanks for the clarification. I was under the impression that we own the number plates (that come with our vehicle-govt issued) and can be kept for your future vehicles.

Ah yea, sorry no. Only personalised plates that cost a lot more can be kept.
