At my last WOF it passed, but the guy also told me I have an oil leak (rocker cover gasket). I have a Nissan Maxima 1997, 239000km. Is it worth to fix the problem or is it time to sell it...Also if nothing else is wrong with the car and still drives very well, how much could I probably get for it...

Hi there,
Yes rocker cover gaskets are one of the most common oil leak sources in aging vehicles, and are usually just an annoyance (oil burning smell) rather than a serious fault to be remedied in an older vehicle. It can also be the case of costing more to fix than the value of the vehicle. While they are great vehicles, due to age and km's the value for a private sale could be $500-$1,000.
