Forum Motoring Rules & Regulations Rules around children as passengers on motorbikes/motorbike child seats

Hello.

I have struggled to find any clear answers to this question.
With the exception of using a helmet, what are the other requirements for children to legally ride as a passenger on a motorbike or scooter?
And also, what rules if any apply to purpose made child seats for motorbikes and scooters?
