Hi there. I bought my car almost a year ago with a car dealership. The car went back 2-3 times with faults. When I went to register the car a few weeks ago it said the car didn’t have a current WoF which the sticker said it had a WoF. So the dealership took the car back to get the car wofed for me, had to have some things done to it to pass.
So it’s all fine with the WoF and rego, then 2 weeks later after getting the car back from the dealership the power steering has gone and the driveshaft is sounding rather bad. What I can I do about this? The shocks need replacing as well.
The car isn’t being used as having no power steering is very difficult.

Hi there,
You will need to have the checked out to see what the power steering issues are- it could be that a drive belt has come off or the fluid level is low. Once you know what all the issues are then you can determine if the dealer should be responsible or the issues are what to be expected for the vehicle age and mileage. Shocks and noisy CV joints can be considered maintenance items that will eventually wear out and require replacement.
