Hi, do we have to stop for 3 full seconds at stop signs? This afternoon I was turning left at a T intersection, I slowed stopped and looked to make sure no vehicles were coming on the right, and made my turn, this is a T intersection so there is no on coming traffic, I was pulled over and ticked by the police because he says I didn’t stop long enough and didn’t looked both ways. I would like to know if there is a set time frame we have to stop at stop signs.
