My friend forget to inform nzta that he solds his car to me before going to philippines to attend burial of his mother but i already change the ownership to my name. What could be the posible outcome for this? Thank you so much cheers!!

If you have paid to change the vehicle into your name, then there is nothing else to do. The other service is if the seller want's to notify the NZTA before the new owner has been able to (as soon as the car drives away for example).
