Hi,

Please advice what is the acceptable fair wear and tear on exterior & interior in a car that would not be considered as damaged here in New Zealand?

This is what I would understand the statement to mean: Fair Wear and Tear: Deterioration that results from the intended use of an item…but not deterioration that results from negligence, carelessness, accident or abuse. I can't comment on specifics for a motor vehicle, maybe only a tribunal can.
