Hi,

The engine of my car has been replaced by the dealer under warranty, so I am wondering what sort of documentation they need to give me regarding this.

Also, do I need to update the engine number on my car registration? If so, how can this be done?

Hi there,
You might be able to ask for a list of what was replaced or work carried out on the vehicle to keep for your records.
The engine number does not need to be updated on any records, the engine type fitted won't have changed.
