Hi,

I have a standard 2008 Mazda MPV which I purchased in September 2017 but discovered that there was no spare tyre after a month of purchasing, I have tried contacting the car dealer that I purchased from but have not heard back from them & wasnt too sure if they were meant to provide a spare tyre.
Can you help?

Hi there,
It is not a legal requirement for a vehicle to have a spare tyre. But a car without one should always have a method of getting a vehicle to safety.
This is by fitting specially designed run-flat tyres, or providing a sealer/ inflator kit to repair the tyre enough to get to a place of repair.

Oh ok, my vehicle is due for it WOF next week, will I need a spare tyre in order to get a WOF?

A spare tyre is not required for a wof.
