If I take my car into get a new warrant of fitness while it is still valid(e.g not expired) and it fails, can they revoke the previous Wof before it’s expiry date?

Hi there,
A fail means that the vehicle is deemed unsafe for the road in its current state and so the vehicle will be classed as no longer having a current wof. The sticker might still be on the screen , but in the system it would not be current.
