Hi there, I'm looking to buy a small horse truck that can also be used as a campa van. I have two small
Children, and most of the trucks have only 3 seats in the cab. I'm wondering what the rules are for a fourth person (an adult) travelling in the living area of the van if there are seats without seat belts? Is it the sabe as in the UK that if there is a crawl through from the cab and the truck us older than a certain age this is fine? Please explain. Many thanks, Laura

Hi there,
It is generally illegal for any person to travel in the living area of a vehicle without being restrained in a certified seat and seatbelt.
However information can be found here: https://www.nzta.govt.nz/vehicles/choosing-the-right-vehicle/features-that-protect-you/seat-belts/seat-belts-in-motorhomes/
