Hi. We have a two year old Honda HRV and already there are signs of rusting around the sharp edges of panels (especially front side panels), under the bonnet, in the engine bay and under the front along where panels are welded together.
I think there is a fundamental lack or absence of anti corrosive treatment in these areas and any repainting will not solve the underlying problem and it will only reoccur again before too long. The car has not been in a salty environment.
What is your recomendation on what we should do?
Many thanks

Hi there,
As the vehicle is under warranty with the manufacturer, they would need to identify the potential for faults and how to cope with it in the future (extended body warranty against corrosion etc). The question to ask "is it reasonable fro this vehicle of two year old, to have this kind of problem?". Has the vehicle been durable and fit for purpose?
