I was recently involved with a small crash with two other vehicles. I was following the two vehicles when a car in front of the two vehicles suddenly stopped. The front vehicle of the two vehicles managed to stop in time but the following car slide into it and i slide into the back of the car in front of me. The owner of the car insurance company in front of me is saying i am liable for the damage at the rear of car. Where do i stand because i dont believe its my fault as he failed to stop in time and is blaming it on me. He only has 3rd party and unfortunately its the only vehicle i don't have insured. Thanks Jack

Hi Jack,
If you hit the car in front of you - failing to stop- is what you'll be charged with and be held liable for the damages to the car you hit and the car they hit if the impact was forceful enough.
