I was reverse parking with clear visibility. I pulled into a run of 2 parks and was reversing into the back park. A car had pulled round the corner and nipped into the park that I was reversing into. She thought I was parked I bumped her with the tow bar as did not see her. Who is liable?

Hi there,
As with most parking incidents the reversing car (as they are driving against the traffic flow) while in motion is found responsible as they must make sure the way is clear for the duration of the manoeuvre.
If both cars are in motion, then split liability can result.
