I purchased a 1999 Nissan Pulsar LX and was advised at my last service/wof that the spare wheel is the wrong size and as such cannot be properly secured in spare wheel bay.
I was told to search for an alternative but when wreckers requested the tyre size I checked and notice that the spare matches the wheels on the vehicle 175/65R14 82H. I'm not sure what size the spare should be - Does it need to be a 'space saver' ?

Hi there,
Your spare (if fitted) can be any type as long as it is secure .
If the boot space is designed for a smaller space saver, then fitting a full-size spare may cause the floor to sit higher and can be a bit of a pain at times.
It may need a workshop to make a bracket and longer bolt to allow the spare to be secured correctly.
